Community Involvement
Chris Lowery is a member of the O'Fallon Chamber of Commerce, a membership only organization made up of local businesses that are involved with the community. He is also on the board for United Way . United Way focuses on three major building blocks for life, including education (helping children achieve their potential), income (promoting financial stability and independance), and health (impoving people's health). Big Brothers/Big Sisters is another board of which Chris Lowery is a member. Big Brothers/Big Sisters helps children realize their potential and build successful futures. Belleville’s Annual Chili Cook-Off is one of the biggest community events of the year. Chris Lowery and his team enjoy volunteering their time and interacting with the community. People come to enjoy the great chili, entertainment, and other events such as the junior American Idol competition. This is a great fundraiser for many non-profit organizations. 
Each year, Chris Lowery sponsors Art on the Square . The event takes place in Belleville and is one of the largest art exhibits in the nation. Chris and his office volunteer their time to help show hospitality to all the artists and visitors. This year The Lowery Group sponsored an artist to work with children at a grade school. The artist taught children the fine art of working with metal and stones to create exquisite jewelry. The Lowery Group also volunteered time for this event by assisting the artists with their needs. This was a fun experience for all and the office looks forward to helping with this event in the years to come.
